About Tara Preston

President & Owner

Tara started in new construction in the real estate department of a local community bank, where she learned the business side of building. She later worked as a mortgage loan officer, but her long-term goal was to become a custom home builder.

She began by buying older homes and fully restoring them. In 2005 she expanded into land acquisition and development, and today Preston Homes builds custom homes, renovations and additions.

Her goal: homes known for quality workmanship, attention to detail and a personal touch.
